نویسندگان

چکیده

Objectives: Drug-drug interaction (DDI) occurs following the prescription of more than one drug. DDI and its associated factors in Indonesia’s country’s primary care have not been reported.
Materials Methods: Through this descriptive cross-sectional study, we analysed incidence using Clinical-Based Drug Interaction Alert (CIDIA) alert system. Purposive research was carried out by analysing prescriptions (n=2410) from nine health cares.
Results: CIDIA system detected 7.5% all prescriptions, categorized as mild (63%), moderate (36%) serious (1%). Significant observed female patients (p<0.01), older 18 years (p<0.01) receiving three or drugs (p<0.01). The most frequent each category paracetamol-domperidone; dexamethasone-mefenamic acid captopril-allopurinol.
Conclusion: has shown to provide beneficial support detecting incidence. Careful consideration should be addressed particularly towards patients, preventing incidence.
